Life

“At
night I was up to go to the lavatory about every two hours or
less. You could almost set your watch by it. During the day it
was about every hour.”
“ If I went to a shopping mall I had to make sure that shopping mall had
a restroom. My wife was really getting fed up with me.”
Life

“If
you have to have a procedure, this is the one you want as far
as I’m concerned. I would recommend it to anyone over any
other procedure.”
“ In my case, I did not need a catheter of any sort.”

Life
before PVP
“The
problem I was having was a little bit of pressure. There was
still urine in the bladder and I just couldn’t relax.”
“ The doctor told me that this procedure was going to be a lot better than
the procedure I had years before. That procedure took a whole day and I had to
be in the hospital.”
Life
after PVP
“No
pain…none what so ever. My wife is happy…I’m
happy, I’m happy…”

Life
before PVP
“It
was kind of embarrassing because I had to go the bathroom a lot,
you can’t tell people what’s going on and you just
suffer through it.”
“ Well, the quality of life was…I was in misery. When I had to go
to the bathroom I could never completely empty. And I had to keep going back
and fourth and it got pretty irritating, especially when you’re traveling.”
Life
after PVP
“I
urinate a whole lot better than I did then. It was stop and go
and now it’s “shhwish” (laughs) you go top
notch, you know. So that makes a world of difference.”
